Stillness

STILLNESS........

This is a state i thought i could never be in.
I'm constantly moving, constantly restless,
constantly doing more than i can manage to finish
BUT somehow, now i feel comfortable in it.

I can now sit still and relax for a relatively long period
(meaning 5-10minutes at a time.....heehee).
It's rejuvinating!
Everyday i look forward to these minutes.

Try it. Feels great!

BALANCE

Why is it so hard to attain this?

I struggle with balance every single day....
eat a balanced diet (sooooo hard to do);
balance kids on each arm when i'm at work;
balance work time and fun time (fun time suffers a lot when i try to take on ten thousand things at the same time);
and balance on one foot at yoga class (geeeez)

Ketut, the Medicine Man said "To find the balance you want, you must keep your feet grounded so firmly on the earth that it's like you have four legs, instead of two. I can't balance on one foot but i can do a head stand ... does that count?
