Macau Trip with my Crazy Family DAY TWO and DAY THREE :-)

Walk, Walk, Walk. That's Day two for you in a gist.

DAY TWO of our Macau trip started with a swim.........rewind.............DAY TWO of our Macau trip started with a loooooooooong walk to the pool side. After we had a big buffet breakfast at Cafe Deco, we decided to look at the pool and see if we can take a dip before the Tanders start calling attendace. TOURIST TIP # 3 If you're at The Venetian, you must eat at Cafe Deco! It's the best buffet breakfast i have tried and the widest assortment of food i have seen. How many kinds of breakfast food can you really think of?

We were able to swim for a couple of hours wearing suits we put together at the last minute since swimming wasn't really part of the agenda. It was also very hot in Macau (very much like Manila) so the decision to take a dip wasn't a very bad idea. Afterwhich, we had lunch at the pool side cafe (the name of which i really cannot remember) then walked the 330meters back to the elevator to take a shower in our room.

Then it was time to go on a tour. We didn't join other tourists, we rented our own coaster which was very convenient. First stop: Tito Ding & Tita Carmen's brand new condo unit in Old Macau. Since there was already quite a number of relatives present, they decided to have an on-the-spot house warming. Buti na lang the Pastor was a phone call away and was available right at the moment.

After the house warming, we went to St. Peter's Ruins. This is one of the tourist spots. Maybe a clean version of Divisoria with nicer stores. One of the most famous shops here is the Pastelleria Koi Kei. You should never leave Macau without a bag of their goodies. They have the best Tapas!

Our trip to the Ruins was quite short, 1 hour to be exact. HB na ang mga Tanders from all the walking so we didn't have time to shop. We literally just breezed through the whole area.......sooooo the next day, DAY THREE, we (me, Bea and Tita Ems) decided to go back on our own. Yipee! Right after our big breakfast, we hit the streets, hailed a cab and went to shopping haven. I don't even remember the name of the mall we went to first, basta hanap lang ng mabibili. Haha! The first thing i bought was a pair of Chucks na velcro strap for my brother, super cheap, something like 220HKD then i bought a couple of cool shirts for Aris (2 for 100HKD).

Then we had to head back to the hotel to rest and freshen up for the ZAIA show, a Cirque du Soleil production. The show was set for 7pm, which meant we still had time to shop. We saw kasi a big SALE sign na 70% of in Next. So we went for a quickie shop meaning, i was able to buy a pair of wide-legged pants, shorts and 2 tops in less than 30 minutes. Hindi pa nakuntento, we decided to buy na our Cirque souvenirs before the show.....Excited eh! See our pre-Zaia (as in we took it on the morning of the show) and post-Zaia shots (with red balloons) ....

The Zaia show was superb! TOURIST TIP # 4 One must watch a Cirque du Soleil show at least once in his life time! Truly an eye-candy!

One more day, and then time to say bye to Macau. . . . .
